This is a searingly honest account of the horrors of North Korea and the desperation of living under a brutal regime. The appalling depths of inhumanity that exist in this world and the courage of some human spirits. What this author has overcome in such a short young life is beyond imagination for anyone in the western world. Sadly her very words will have caused further suffering to her family back in north Korea, so she has shown great courage in writing this book. Salute all those true humanitarian who have helped this little family throughout their journey and recovery. I think everybody should read this book as it is a good leveler. It makes you realise how lucky we are to live, to have freedom of choice, freedom to discuss our views and the right to vote.
