Back in the UK and wanting to continue our travels we decide not to return to our house but to housesit allowing us to visit family, friends and to see different parts of the country.

Once off the ferry, we don’t have to travel far to the first house sit in the Kent countryside. Our friends Simon and Sue are off on holiday, so we will be staying at their house to look after their three cats. Just over a mile from the village of Aldington, it’s an area we are familiar with but when we go out walking there’s always something different to discover. Then back at the house, we watch the farmer opposite working his land and the daily passing of the horse and trap whose occupants shout hello. Even though we don’t venture far it’s given us time to empty the motorhome to see what needs repairing and clean it.

It’s soon time for Simon and Sue to return and we are on the move again but I’m sure we will be back again soon.
