Since last October we have continued to live a rather nomadic lifestyle travelling to different areas in the UK, house-sitting, and visiting family and friends.
While most people who work 9-5 have to plan their holidays around their jobs, for us the house sitting becomes our day job and which means every few weeks when we move on it’s like having a mini break.
We spent a couple of days travelling up to Blackpool, a week exploring the delights of Yorkshire, then headed back down to Kent housesitting in Boughton Monchelsea, Bethersden East Malling and Horsmonden with several weeks in between and after staying with our good friends Simon and Sue.
Almost all of these stays were completed with new friends in the form of dogs, cats, chickens and sheep so what’s not to like about this way of life but of course, it wouldn’t be everyone’s cup of tea.
